The Fukuho Bank, Ltd. announced that it will receive ¥5,000,000,000 in an equity round of funding on January 14, 2021. The transaction will include participation from The Fukui Bank, Ltd. (TSE:8362). The company has signed basic agreement with the investor. The transaction is expected to close in July 2021. The company will receive funding through third party allotment of capital.
The Fukui Bank, Ltd. is a Japan-based regional bank mainly engaged in banking business. The Bank operates in three business segments. The Banking segment is engaged in the provision of banking services, including deposit, loan, domestic and foreign exchange and other banking supporting services like credit guarantee business, credit card business, etc. The Leasing segment is engaged in the provision of leasing services include industrial machinery, computers and office equipment etc. Other business is involved in the computer-related business.
