Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and the legislation, Telekom Slovenije, d. d., hereby publishes the following notification:
Telekom Slovenije today officially launched the state-of-the-art and fastest yet mobile network Mobitel LTE/4G, which supports an even faster data transfer. The new technology supports significantly higher mobile data rates, with theoretical speeds of up to 100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload, which is much faster than in the GSM and UMTS networks. Data rates in practice depend on radio conditions, which are affected by several factors, such as network load, micro location, etc. Telekom Slovenije invested €3 million in the first phase of the LTE the network construction. With further investments into the LTE network and its other networks Telekom Slovenije will continue in line with its investment policy: prudently, reasonably, and above all in accordance with market responses, trends, and guidelines. This year's investment plan of Telekom Slovenije is a total of €130 million.
