Tekcore Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 251.175 million compared to TWD 140.810 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 12.032 million compared to operating loss of TWD 22.909 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 9.882 million compared to net loss of TWD 23.502 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.22 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.54 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 465.197 million compared to TWD 268.374 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 26.873 million compared to operating loss of TWD 55.360 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 33.067 million compared to net loss of TWD 56.653 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.76 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.31 a year ago.
TEKCORE CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sales of gallium nitride (GaN) blue, green and ultraviolet light emitting diode (LED) epitaxial wafers and chips. The Company's main products include GaN/gallium arsenide (GaAs) chips, quaternary products, related parts and materials and others.
