WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. unit of Stellantis informed that it has recalled 76,000 plug-in hybrid electric minivans due to a short circuit that could cause the engine to suddenly stall.

The recall affects 67,000 2017-23 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid minivans in the United States and about 9,000 in other countries. The automaker explained that a connector on the transmission's internal wiring harness could short, causing the engine to stall unexpectedly.
