La Tribune reported quoting sources that General Motors Company (GM) ready to almost give away Adam Opel AG to PSA Peugeot Citroen. Last week, Steve Girsky, Opel's supervisory Board Chairman told Allgemeine Zeitung Mainz that Opel is not up for sale. According to La Tribune, GM was to contribute with a few billion Euros to make the deal attractive for the buyer.
La Tribune added that the French state was to make a contribution and maybe even acquire a stake in Opel.
