Spie announces that its subsidiary Spie ICS, specialized in digital services, is supporting CEA Marcoule in the overhaul of its LAN (computer network) infrastructure.

Modernized to enhance performance, agility and security, the new network, developed with the ExtremeNetworks solution, is designed to ensure high availability and support CEA Marcoule's future development.

Spie points out that CEA Marcoule 'is at the heart of the energy challenges of the 21st century, thanks to its work on the circular economy and environmental protection'.

The migration of the IT network took place between October 2022 and March 2023.

According to Spie, the new, more efficient network now offers maximum resilience and availability for users at the CEA Marcoule center. In addition, it enables the addition of security services between resources and users.

The Spie ICS teams will continue to work with the CEA Marcoule teams to pass on their skills in using and managing the new network.
