Silicon Optronics, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 539.091 million compared to TWD 603.211 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 8.086 million compared to TWD 40.087 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 12.714 million compared to TWD 40.472 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.16 compared to TWD 0.52 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,138.858 million compared to TWD 954.347 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 56.261 million compared to TWD 39.248 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 55.971 million compared to TWD 42.774 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.73 compared to TWD 0.55 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.72 compared to TWD 0.55 a year ago.
Silicon Optronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development and distribution of complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors and modules. The Company's products include Video Graphics Array (VGA) area CMOS image sensors, high definition (HD) /Full HD area CMOS image sensors, two Mb/five Mb/eight Mb area CMOS image sensors and 1200/2400 dots per inch (dpi) linear CMOS image sensor/modules.
