Silicon Optronics, Inc. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 928.521 million compared to TWD 661.732 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 103.227 million compared to TWD 56.825 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 92.688 million compared to TWD 56.046 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.2 compared to TWD 0.72 a year ago. For the nine months, total revenue was TWD 2,067.379 million compared to TWD 1,616.079 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 159.488 million compared to TWD 96.073 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 148.659 million compared to TWD 98.820 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.93 compared to TWD 1.27 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.92 compared to TWD 1.26 a year ago.
Silicon Optronics, Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development and distribution of complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors and modules. The Company's products include Video Graphics Array (VGA) area CMOS image sensors, high definition (HD) /Full HD area CMOS image sensors, two Mb/five Mb/eight Mb area CMOS image sensors and 1200/2400 dots per inch (dpi) linear CMOS image sensor/modules.
