Revisions to the Cosmetics Materials Sales and Development System
Sakai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce organizational changes to our cosmetic materials sales and development system as of September 16, 2023.
1. Background
The cosmetic products market has steadily recovered from the temporary setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic and is expected to keep growing. Accompanying this trend, we believe opportunities to consider and adopt new cosmetic materials will increase in the future. Not to miss these opportunities, we must reconsider conventional sales and development departments and strengthen our ability to provide better customer solutions.
We have performed marketing, development, and sales of cosmetic materials separately in multiple divisions until now, with sales in the Sales Headquarters and development in the Research and Development Headquarters. We will now establish the Cosmetic Innovation Division, making cosmetic product operations independent of each headquarter structure and consolidating these functions into one. Consequently, we can create a stronger connection between sales and development as well as streamline the collection and sharing of market information, customer information, and development status to create a system that allows us to provide speedy and valuable solutions for materials from the standpoint of the customer.
This new structure will allow us to generate more revenue in the future.
