Plastron Precision Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 200.061 million compared to TWD 275.126 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 4.440 million compared to operating Income of TWD 26.771 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 11.878 million compared to net income of TWD 36.460 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.08 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.27 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 599.656 million compared to TWD 720.634 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 10.172 million compared to operating Income of TWD 40.279 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 7.203 million compared to net income of TWD 53.899 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.05 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.41 a year ago.
PLASTRON PRECISION CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the production and distribution of connectors. The Companyâs primary products include board-to-board connectors, memory card connectors and input and output transmission connectors. The Company's board-to-board connectors are mainly used in computers, digital cameras, projectors, tabulating machines, drawing machines, mobile phones, and network and communication equipment, among others. Its memory card connectors are used as key components of memory card reading devices. The Company mainly distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
