Plastron Precision Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 231.819 million compared to TWD 283.538 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 7.637 million compared to TWD 27.395 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 20.712 million compared to TWD 45.971 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.16 compared to TWD 0.35 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 445.508 million compared to TWD 576.708 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 13.508 million compared to TWD 79.532 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 17.439 million compared to TWD 33.797 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.13 compared to TWD 0.26 a year ago.

The Companyâs primary products include board-to-board connectors, memory card connectors and input and output transmission connectors. The Company's board-to-board connectors are mainly used in computers, digital cameras, projectors, tabulating machines, drawing machines, mobile phones, and network and communication equipment, among others. Its memory card connectors are used as key components of memory card reading devices. The Company mainly distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
