Plastron Precision Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 226.828 million compared to TWD 231.819 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1.225 million compared to TWD 20.712 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.01 compared to TWD 0.16 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 399.595 million compared to TWD 445.508 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 4.675 million compared to TWD 17.439 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.03 compared to TWD 0.13 a year ago.
PLASTRON PRECISION CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the production and distribution of connectors. The Companyâs primary products include board-to-board connectors, memory card connectors and input and output transmission connectors. The Company's board-to-board connectors are mainly used in computers, digital cameras, projectors, tabulating machines, drawing machines, mobile phones, and network and communication equipment, among others. Its memory card connectors are used as key components of memory card reading devices. The Company mainly distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, Europe and the Americas.
