Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (LSG) has sold its Chilean company, Pacific Seafood SA,
along with all production rights (licences) for salmon in Chile. The licences in
question were acquired by LSG in the spring of 2007, as part of the acquisition
of Veststar Holding AS.

This transaction will be recognised on LSG's consolidated accounts as a gain on
sales totalling USD 9.5 million. After deduction of estimated tax, the total
gain will be just under USD 8 million.
