KOYJ Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 3,940.02 million compared to KRW 11,447.13 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 2,006.86 million compared to KRW 19.25 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 132 compared to KRW 1 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 132 compared to KRW 1 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 132 compared to KRW 1 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 87.16 million compared to KRW 71.18 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 10,366.99 million compared to KRW 1,279.62 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 680 compared to KRW 84 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 680 compared to KRW 84 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 680 compared to KRW 61 a year ago.
KOYJ CO., LTD. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the liquid crystal display (LCD) black light unit (BLU) industry. The Company operates its business through three divisions: optical film coating division, light guide plates division and protection film division. Its optical film coating division is engaged in the manufacturing of optical functional films, hard coating films, adhesive protection films, cushion sheets and others. Its light guide plates division provides light guide plates used for LCD. Its protection film division is engaged in the manufacturing of protection films used for LCD panels. The Company distributes its products with domestic market and to overseas markets.
