ITT Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended October 02, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 689.6 million compared to USD 591.2 million a year ago. Net income was USD 87.5 million compared to net loss of USD 46.8 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.01. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1. Basic earnings per share was USD 1.02 compared to basic loss per share of USD 0.54 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 1.01 compared to diluted loss per share of USD 0.54 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 2,079.6 million compared to USD 1,769.2 million a year ago. Net income was USD 212.7 million compared to USD 86 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 2.47 compared to USD 0.99 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 2.46 compared to USD 0.98 a year ago.
