INPEX Announces Organizational Changes and

Associated Personnel Changes

TOKYO, JAPAN - INPEX CORPORATION("INPEX") announced today a series of organizational changes and associated personnel appointments at the General Manager level as described below, effective April 1, 2022. The organizational changes and associated personnel appointments are aimed at building a framework to achieve the goals outlined in "INPEX Vision @2022 | INPEX CORPORATION" announced on February 9, 2022.

1. Overview

1. Reorganization of "Technical Division"
   The current "Operated Projects Support Unit" and "Technical Support Unit" will be restructured into the "Projects Support Unit" and "Technical Lead Unit," respectively, to more flexibly and efficiently utilize technological resources for energy transformation and divert and apply these resources to new business fields.
2. Reorganization of "Domestic Energy Supply & Marketing Division"
   The current "Strategy Planning & Coordination Unit," "Gas Marketing Unit," "Oil Products Marketing Unit," "Naoetsu Administration Unit" and "Gas Supplying Unit" will be restructured into the "Strategy Planning & Coordination Unit," "Administration Unit," "Supply & Demand Management Unit," "Energy Marketing Unit" and "Pipeline Transportation Unit," respectively, to strengthen the division's business foundation and resilience towards making gas materials and petroleum products cleaner and diversifying energy supply.
3. Reorganization of "New Ventures &Global Exploration Division"
   The current "Exploration Strategy Unit" and "New Exploration Ventures Unit" will be restructured into the "Exploration Strategy Unit" and "Exploration New Ventures Unit," respectively, to strengthen the division's business execution framework by seamlessly undertaking all steps from strategic technical evaluations to new project acquisitions and business management.

1. Reorganization of "Renewable Energy & New Business Division"
   The current "Renewable Energy Unit" and "Geothermal Unit" will be restructured into the "Commercial Coordination Unit" and "Technical Unit," respectively, to promote the acquisition of new projects and expand the company's renewable energy business as a key component of the five net zero businesses outlined in the medium-term business plan, with a focus on efficient human resources allocation and business execution.
