HoMA teams up with Hawaiian Airlines Bank of Hawaii World Elite Mastercard® for monthly ARTafterDARK events

HONOLULU -The Honolulu Museum of Art (HoMA) announces Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard® as the Presenting Sponsor of the museum's highly successful ARTafterDARK 2019 program.

Held monthly between January and October, ARTafterDARK (AAD) is the museum's art party dedicated to promoting a vibrant arts scene in Honolulu. Entering its 15th year, each ARTafterDARK event attracts more than 1,800 of the city's trend-setting art enthusiasts. Event themes vary and are tied to museum exhibitions and current events.

'Having Hawai'i's largest and longest serving carrier as the Presenting Sponsor is an exciting opportunity for our largest series of events,' said HoMA director Sean O'Harrow. 'We look forward to working with them to provide dynamic evenings for exploring the arts.'

The airline will host activations at select ARTafterDARK events with special ticket giveaways through its Hawaiian Airlines Bank of Hawaii World Elite Mastercard® program. Cardmembers will receive a free guest pass to ARTafterDARK ($30 value) when using their co-branded credit card to purchase or renew an annual HoMA membership. Elite cardmembers are eligible for VIP access to ARTafterDARK and invitations to private events held at HoMA.

'We're happy to bring our Hawaiian Airlines Mastercard cardmembers closer to the things they love by offering them special access to Hawaii's premier events,' said Avi Mannis, senior director of marketing at Hawaiian Airlines.

In addition, Hawaiian Airlines is the highest-level corporate donor at the museum's Corporate Council Visionary Level. Hawaiian will also be recognized as a sponsor supporting exhibitions featuring artists from any of the carrier's 10 international or 12 domestic destinations.

'We're proud to elevate our partnership with the Honolulu Museum of Art as we expand our support of the arts in Hawai'i by investing in exhibitions that feature local and global artists,' Mannis continued.

Hawaiian Airlines generous contribution will provide HoMA noteworthy support for the museum's outreach to thousands of art lovers.
