Force Motors Ltd. reported standalone unaudited earnings results for third quarter and nine months ended Dec. 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported income from operations of INR 7,087.700 million, profit from operations before other income and finance costs and exceptional items of INR 14.800 million, profit from ordinary activities before tax of INR 246.400 million, net profit of INR 232.500 million compared to the income from operations of INR 8,338.100 million, profit from operations before other income and finance costs and exceptional items of INR 242.700 million, profit from ordinary activities before tax of INR 379.300 million, net profit of INR 273.100 million for the same quarter a year ago. Basic and diluted EPS before and after extraordinary items was INR 17.65 compared to INR 20.73 for the same quarter a year ago.
For the year to date, the company reported income from operations of INR 25,141.00 million, profit from operations before other income and finance costs and exceptional items of INR 968.300 million, profit from ordinary activities before tax of INR 1,561.200 million, net profit of INR 1,250.100 million compared to the income from operations of INR 24,012.600 million, profit from operations before other income and finance costs and exceptional items of INR 1,023.400 million, profit from ordinary activities before tax of INR 1,459.700 million, net profit of INR 1,052.400 million for the same period a year ago. Basic and diluted EPS before and after extraordinary items was INR 94.88 compared to INR 79.87 for the same period a year ago.
