Thuraya has successfully transformed its monetization systems by upgrading to the latest release of Ericsson Billing, and introducing the latest release of Ericsson Charging to replace its legacy system.

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) and United Arab Emirates-based mobile satellite services operator Thuraya, the mobility arm of Yahsat, have successfully completed the seamless migration and upgrade from legacy systems to updated systems from the Ericsson Business and Operations Support Systems portfolio.

The upgrade included the deployment of the latest Ericsson Billing and Ericsson Charging solutions on Thuraya's network. With the successful modernization, Thuraya benefits from optimized system performance, increased flexibility, faster time-to-market, reduced lead times, and enhanced service experiences, unlocking revenues while offering increased value to enterprises and partners.
