Deutsche Post AG (XTRA:DPW) would be looking for acquisitions as its balance sheet has been significantly strengthened over 2021, Chief Executive Frank Appel said at the virtual general meeting on May 6, 2022. Appel did not disclose potential takeover targets. The Chief Executive noted that an important criterium for a possible deal would be to create added value for customers while synergies would be a secondary reason for a takeover.
