Daiken Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the six months ended August 2020. For the period, the company reported net sales of JPY 4,938 million against JPY 5,131 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 125 million against JPY 46 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 94 million or JPY 16.20 per basic share against JPY 35 million or JPY 6.05 per basic share a year ago.
DAIKEN CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of building hardware, exterior building materials and exterior products. The Company operates through two business segments. The Building Related Products segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale and installation of exterior building materials, interior building materials, as well as home delivery boxes, door hangers, and household sliding door closers. The Real Estate Rental segment is engaged in the operation of rental apartments for singles and rental stores. Exterior building materials include shades, aluminum drainers, handrails for shades, exterior blindfolded panels. Interior building materials include inspection doors, pits, gratings, stainless steel entrance wiping mats, ceiling lighting louvers, aluminum pipes, curtain rails.
