Daiken Co.,Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended May 2020. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 2,437 million against JPY 2,481 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 55 million against JPY 4 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 37 million. Basic earnings per share was JPY 6.44 against JPY 0.08 a year ago.
DAIKEN CO.,LTD. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of building hardware, exterior building materials and exterior products. The Company operates through two business segments. The Building Related Products segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale and installation of exterior building materials, interior building materials, as well as home delivery boxes, door hangers, and household sliding door closers. The Real Estate Rental segment is engaged in the operation of rental apartments for singles and rental stores. Exterior building materials include shades, aluminum drainers, handrails for shades, exterior blindfolded panels. Interior building materials include inspection doors, pits, gratings, stainless steel entrance wiping mats, ceiling lighting louvers, aluminum pipes, curtain rails.
