Chien Wei Precise Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 102.250 million compared to TWD 83.925 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 5.028 million compared to TWD 8.100 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 6.561 million compared to TWD 9.584 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.17 compared to TWD 0.25 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 349.702 million compared to TWD 269.832 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 967,000 compared to TWD 26.964 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 476,000 compared to TWD 22.839 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.01 compared to TWD 0.6 a year ago.
CHIEN WEI PRECISE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of precise molds, measure equipment, processing equipment, as well as other precise parts and components. Its processing equipment includes machine tools, jig grinders and computer numerical control (CNC) vertical grinders. The Company's precise molds are used for manufacturing of semiconductors, compact disks (CDs) and optoelectronic products. The measure equipment is used in integrated circuit (IC) component industry, semiconductor related industry, printed circuit board (PCB) industry, precise molds industry and mechanical component processing industry. The other precise components include parts, components and precise materials used for machines and equipment. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and to other Asia markets.
