Carrefour has published sales of 90.8 billion euros for fiscal year 2022, up 8.5% on a like-for-like basis on the same period a year earlier.

At the same time, operating income recurring (OIR) came to 2,377 million euros, up 4.6% at constant exchange rates, and net income attributable to the Group stood at 1,212 million euros (+7.6%).

Adjusted earnings per share rose by 14% to 1.63 euros, compared with 1.43 euros a year earlier.

The Group asserts that it has achieved all its operating targets, with further market share gains in all its key countries, sustained growth in sales of Carrefour-branded products, the rapid integration of Grupo BIG in Brazil, good progress on the digital plan, and the ongoing transformation of the store base with the transition to franchising and lease management.

In addition, 'with Carrefour 2026, we are embarking on a new phase of conquest, marked by greater ambitions in digital, the development of the discount offer and new social and environmental commitments. In 2023, Carrefour will continue to differentiate itself in the service of its customers and shareholders', commented Alexandre Bompard, Chairman and CEO.
