Ghosn: 'Fast planning, fast acting' escape, but no details

The auto industry titan appeared with his wife, Carole Ghosn, and acknowledged prior reports that he walked out of his house and took a private plane to Lebanon.

He also said there were few people involved, but refused to discuss any other aspects of his itinerary.

He said his wife was not aware of his plans at the time.

The couple maintained his innocence in the wide-ranging, hour-long interview which covered all assets of the investigation into him.

Carole says she will not cooperate with Japanese law enforcement.
