British Telecom has announced that it has signed a six-year contract with Nationwide to continue to provide network infrastructure. British The company will be helping the building society in its digital transformation strategy. With help from the telecommunication services provider, Nationwide will introduce the latest customer-facing and back office technologies, boost efficiency and become a market leader in customer experience, it claimed.

Nationwide's new network, which builds on the existing network delivered by the company, will connect its entire UK retail banking operations, spanning around 700 branches, as well its head office, regional administration centres and contact centers.
