NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) - U.S. investment bank Morgan Stanley cut its price target for Bayer to 57 euros from 60 euros and left its rating at "Equal-weight." The figures due on August 8 are likely to prove a difficult second quarter for the agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals group, analyst James Quigley wrote in a research note issued Friday. He said his operating earnings (Ebitda) estimate for the year-to-date quarter was about six percent below the consensus forecast. He also said he expects the company to lower its full-year target range, which could bring the consensus estimate down by a good three to five percent./gl/edh
