AMETEK Solidstate Controls today announced that Patrick Williams, previously a Division Vice President at AMETEK MicroPoise Measurement Systems, has become Division Vice President and Business Unit Manager of Solidstate Controls. In his new role, Williams will have responsibility for leading the growth and productivity of five power-related AMETEK businesses and for achieving successful revenue growth globally.

The businesses under Williams’ leadership are:

  • AMETEK Power Instruments
  • AMETEK Prestolite Power
  • AMETEK Solidstate Controls and HDR
  • AMETEK ESP

Williams has more than eleven years’ experience at various AMETEK businesses. He previously has led business units and gained invaluable knowledge of multiple industries and the inner workings of AMETEK as a company. His focus at AMETEK Solidstate Controls will be on growing each of its business units internationally and in entering new vertical markets.
