Amazon.com plans to invest 17.8 billion euros ($19.12 billion) through the end of the next decade to expand logistics network and cloud infrastructure in Germany.

The tech giant said it had earmarked EUR10 billion to expand operations in the country on top of a EUR7.8 billion investment that Amazon Web Services, the group's cloud-computing arm, disclosed in May.

Amazon said it would create 4,000 new jobs in Germany this year at three new fulfilment centers.
