Alstom announces the publication of its first 'France Impact Report'. Conducted in partnership with Ernst & Young, the study looks at the impact of Alstom's activities on French territory, as well as the contributions and commitments made by the group in favor of low-carbon mobility.

Our aim is to highlight the fully integrated nature of CSR in our definition of corporate performance. The aim of all our actions is as much to add value to our expertise as to contribute to the long-term development of our employees and society as a whole", explains Jean-Baptiste Eyméoud, President of Alstom France.

Alstom mentions, for example, "a complete portfolio of rail solutions that are more respectful of the environment", and indicates that it has become "the first rail manufacturer to obtain the CSR label issued by Afnor with a confirmed level".

The multinational adds that its Citadis tramways and Avelia very high-speed trains are over 90% recyclable

'The solutions developed and manufactured by our 12,000 employees in France consume on average 23% less energy than those of 2014', concludes the firm.
