Air Liquide announces plans to invest up to $850 million to build, own and operate four large modular air separation units and related infrastructure in the largest oxygen production facility in the Americas.

This investment would be part of a binding long-term agreement with ExxonMobil for its planned low-carbon hydrogen project in Baytown, which would enable Air Liquide to increase its oxygen production capacity by 50% in Texas.

Subject to the final investment decision, this major project would be the largest industrial investment in Air Liquide's history and would also contribute to strengthening its footprint in the commercial industrial sector in the United States.
