FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX Broker) - Adidas shares just about held their ground on Monday in a weaker market environment. With a drop of 0.2 percent to 230.60 euros, it is not yet possible to speak of anticipation for the European soccer championships starting on Friday.

According to expert Victoria Hasler from asset manager Hargreaves Lansdown, Adidas was able to benefit from the fact that the Herzogenaurach-based company equips three of the largest soccer nations, Spain and Italy, in addition to the host German national team.

So far this year, Adidas shares are still among the top stocks on the DAX with a price premium of 25 percent./edh/mis
