Prior to joining Highland Capital in early 1998, Mr. Daugherty served as Vice President in the Corporate Finance Group at NationsBanc Capital Markets, Inc. (now Bank of America Capital Markets, Inc.).
Prior to joining Bank of America, he was an associate with the law firm of Baker, Brown, Sharman and Parker in Houston, Texas where he represented banks and financial institutions in the liquidation of various RTC portfolios.
Mr. Daugherty received a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston School of Law.
His professional certifications include membership in the Texas Bar Association and admittance to the American Bar Association in 1992.
