Yem Chio Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 3,562.19 million compared to TWD 4,359.84 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 258.89 million compared to net loss of TWD 686.33 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.54 compared to TWD 0.45 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.5 compared to TWD 0.45 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.42 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 1.14 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.39 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 1.14 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 11,569.43 million compared to TWD 12,918.78 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 796.87 million compared to TWD 740.87 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.57 compared to TWD 2.96 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.45 compared to TWD 2.64 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.31 compared to TWD 1.27 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.21 compared to TWD 1.13 a year ago.
YEM CHIO CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, development, processing and distribution of thin films, adhesive tapes and packaging materials, as well as real estate business and the trading of computer products. The Company offers adhesive tapes, including biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) tapes, stationery tapes, double-sided tapes, protection tapes and foam tapes; plastic and packaging materials, including plastic bags and strapping bands, as well as various thin films.
