Yem Chio Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 3,887.18 million compared to TWD 3,938.33 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 333.35 million compared to TWD 994.35 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.56. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.51. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.56 compared to TWD 1.73 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.51 compared to TWD 1.51 a year ago.
YEM CHIO CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, development, processing and distribution of thin films, adhesive tapes and packaging materials, as well as real estate business and the trading of computer products. The Company offers adhesive tapes, including biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) tapes, stationery tapes, double-sided tapes, protection tapes and foam tapes; plastic and packaging materials, including plastic bags and strapping bands, as well as various thin films. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
