Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC), the first bank to offer commercial and corporate customers mobile services and single sign-on access to online banking, said today that Secil Tabli Watson has been named head of Wholesale Internet Solutions.

"Secil has led innovation and growth of our consumer Internet and mobile channels for nearly a decade," said Danny Peltz, executive vice president and head of Treasury Management at Wells Fargo. In her new role, Watson will guide strategic direction for the Commercial Electronic Office® (CEO®) portal, which provides instant online access to more than 80 applications, including cash management, credit and loans, foreign exchange, global payments, health benefit services, insurance, trade services, trust, investment, and retirement services. She also will be responsible for CEO Mobile® service, which allows customers to monitor their accounts and perform critical tasks from anywhere using Web-enabled mobile devices.

Watson joined Wells Fargo in 2002. She served nine years as senior vice president in the Internet Services Group, managing online and mobile payments, fraud prevention, authentication, customer experience and insights, payment and fraud operations. Under her leadership, active mobile channel customers grew to more than 7 million, and online banking customers reached 19.7 million. Bank Technology News named Watson its Innovator of the Year in 2009.

A senior vice president based in San Francisco, Watson earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from Cornell University. She is an active member of the Wells Fargo Enterprise Diversity Council.

The CEO portal offers Wells Fargo commercial and corporate customers single sign-on access to more than 80 online banking applications and reports. The CEO Mobile service is an extension of select portal services, giving customers the ability to access accounts and make important decisions when they're on the move.
