Wei Chih Steel Industrial Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 2,725.02 million compared to TWD 3,321.66 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 152.31 million compared to TWD 317.36 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.47 compared to TWD 0.97 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.47 compared to TWD 0.97 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 5,935.81 million compared to TWD 6,976.86 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 327.58 million compared to TWD 616.63 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.01 compared to TWD 1.89 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.01 compared to TWD 1.89 a year ago.
