Wal-Mart Stores Inc. announced that Wal-Mart Supercenter in McDowell County is one of the 154 locations nationwide that will be closed as part of a worldwide restructuring by the retail company. Wal-Mart Supercenter in Kimball will be shuttered at the end of the month. The store is one of only 12 supercenters nationwide that will be cut, and it is the only location in West Virginia that would be closed under the company's new plans.
