Vocus Group Limited announced the decision to separate the Enterprise & Wholesale segment of the Vocus Australia business into two operating segments, resulting in four reportable operating segments: Enterprise & Government, Wholesale & International, Consumer and New Zealand. The new divisional operating structure has been initiated as part of the Company's accelerated transformation program and is intended to allow sufficient senior executive focus on the opportunities within these segments.

The company also announced appointment of Michael Simmons, current Chief Executive ­ Enterprise & Wholesale will now lead the dedicated Wholesale & International division. In addition to leading the wholesale operation of Vocus since late 2016, Michael brings a wealth of experience in wholesale telecommunications, notably as long term CEO of SP Telemedia (now TPG Telecom). Scott Carter, current Chief Executive ­ Consumer will move into the role of Chief Executive - Enterprise & Government, drawing on his extensive experience in direct and channel sales in the business-to-business market via senior roles at Request DSL, Powertel (subsequently acquired by AAPT) and as executive responsible for the business and corporate division at M2 Group prior to its merger with Vocus in 2016. Vocus has appointed Sandra de Castro as its new Chief Executive ­ Consumer. Prior to joining Vocus, Ms. de Castro held senior roles encompassing sales, marketing and strategy within AGL Energy Limited ("AGL") and National Australia Bank Limited ("NAB").
