Visual Photonics Epitaxy Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 649.635 million compared to TWD 471.306 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 166.428 million compared to TWD 110.083 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 141.012 million compared to TWD 91.060 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.76 compared to TWD 0.5 a year ago.
Visual Photonics Epitaxy Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and distribution of photoelectric semiconductor epitaxial chips and components. The Companyâs primary products include heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) wafers, pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (PHEMT) wafers, indium phosphide (InP) HBT wafers, wafer bonding light emitting diodes (LEDs), gallium arsenide (GaAs) personal identification number (PIN) and indium GaAs (InGaAs) PIN, among others. Its products are mainly used in wireless communication systems, including power amplifiers, frequency converters and others. The Company mainly distributes its products in Taiwan, the United States of America (the USA) and other areas.
