For the first three months of 2023, Veolia reports growth in recurring EBIT of 14% on a like-for-like basis, to 788 million euros, as well as EBITDA of 1.57 billion euros, up 8% organically.
Sales for the utilities group totaled 12 billion euros, up 19.9% on a like-for-like basis (+6.3% excluding the effect of energy prices), with increases across all operating segments.
These performances once again illustrate our low sensitivity to the economic cycle and our ability to pass on cost increases in our prices", comments CEO Estelle Brachlianoff.
Veolia fully confirms its 2023 outlook, including "solid organic growth" in sales, organic EBITDA growth of +5 to +7%, and net income before non-recurring items, group share, of around 1.3 billion euros.
