Veidekke Entreprenad has been awarded the contract by NIAM to remodel Skatteverket's offices in Malmø. 15,000 m of office space is to be modernized and upgraded, and will be certified as Miljöbyggnad Silver after the remodelling. The contract is valued at SEK 130 million excluding VAT.


Following the remodelling, different sections of Skatteverket's operations will be combined into a well-functioning unit. The building will now have open landscape office spaces, and an atrium solution will ensure good light conditions in the premises.


In addition to the principal NIAM, partners from the outset have been Reflex Arkitekter, Newsec Asset Management and Allegro Projekt. The building project will be implemented as an interaction project between Veidekke, the principal and the involved fitters.


Demolition work in sections of the old premises started at the turn of the year. The entire remodelling project is to be completed by 1 February 2015.
