VF Again Recognized as a 'Best Company for Leaders'

VF Corporation has been named to Chief Executive Magazine's 2016 Best Companies for Leaders list, the 10th annual installment of the rankings.

VF ranked No. 6 on the magazine's list of the Top 40 companies. The honor, published in the magazine's January issue, marked the third consecutive year the company made the list; VF was also No. 6 in 2015, up from No. 11 in 2014, the first year VF participated in this research study.

'Our success as a company depends on the people we have at all levels, from our senior leaders to store managers,' said Ron Lawrence, VF's VP of Global Talent Management. 'While we are honored with this recognition, we know our work is never done, and we look forward to continuing to build a world-class organization with the best leaders and the best talent at every level.'

Chief Executive Magazine works with Chally Group Worldwide, a sales and leadership research and consulting firm, to score companies on five key criteria. Areas examined include whether the company has a formal leadership program in place, the number of senior positions filled by internal candidates and the amount of time the CEO spends on leadership development.
