United Food Holdings Ltd. provided earnings guidance for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012. The group expects to report loss for the third quarter. The expected loss is attributable to an increase in the soybean costs, which is due mainly to the worst drought in half a century in the United States this year.
This has affected supplies and driven up soybean prices.
