Pakistan Energy Ministry and MPCL Representatives Visited United Energy Group

On April 24, 2024, Mr. Kashif Ali, the representative of Director General Petroleum Concession (DGPC), and Mr. Hassan Mehmood, the representative of Mari Petroleum Company Ltd (MPCL), visited United Energy Group (UEG). Both sides conducted comprehensive exchanges and discussions on future business layout and cooperation on key projects.

Wu Minglin, Executive Vice President of UEG, along with representatives of the headquarters team, expressed warm welcome to the visit of the representatives of Pakistan Energy Ministry and Mari Petroleum Company Ltd, and also conveyed sincere greetings from the Group's board of directors. At the meeting, the two guests first watched the corporate image film, and then listened to the detailed introduction of the headquarters team on the overall situation of UEG, as well as the operation of the oil and gas sector and new energy sector. During the exchange, Mr. Wu emphasized that Pakistan is an important asset location for UEG, and we have two prominent advantages in the field of oil and gas operations: First, we have strong technical support, with technical research institutions in Pakistan and Beijing, which enables us to have sufficient advantages in exploration capabilities and potential; Second, the Pakistani team has rich experience and efficient collaboration, which makes UEP excel in operations. In the past two years, UEG has significantly increased its new exploration area in Pakistan. In the next 2-3 years, UEG will also increase investment and efforts in exploration, looking forward to creating more cooperation opportunities with Pakistan in the traditional oil and gas and new energy fields.

Mr. Hassan Mehmood, the Director of Business Development & Commercial of MPCL, said that this trip to China aims to actively seek cooperation partners, and he looked forward to further deepening exchanges on new projects based on this meeting and striving to reach cooperation as soon as possible.
