Ubisoft announced today that it has finalized the transaction with Activision Blizzard whereby Ubisoft will obtain the cloud streaming rights for 'Call of Duty' and all other Activision Blizzard games to be released over the next 15 years. These rights will exist in perpetuity", underlines Ubisoft.

The completion of the transaction comes after the CMA (French Competition and Markets Authority) approved Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard (excluding cloud streaming rights outside the EEA) and after Microsoft's confirmation of the completion of this transaction.

"At Ubisoft, we are firmly convinced of the strong potential of the cloud gaming market in the years to come," explained Yves Guillemot, co-founder and CEO of Ubisoft.

' Now that the transaction has been finalized, we will start working on the operational aspects of transferring these games to Ubisoft+, our exclusive subscription service and distribution ecosystem', he added.
