HSBC Holdings has declared to the AMF that on July 1st, through the intermediary of companies it controls, it exceeded the thresholds of 5% of Ubisoft's capital and voting rights, as a result of an off-market acquisition of shares.

The declarant stated that it held, indirectly, 8,272,818 Ubisoft shares representing the same number of voting rights, i.e. 6.49% of the capital and 5.97% of the voting rights of the video game publisher. Its subsidiary HSBC Bank Plc crossed the same thresholds upwards.
