Thye Ming Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,630.236 million compared to TWD 2,771.612 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 2.673 million compared to operating Income of TWD 280.877 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 9.232 million compared to TWD 254.386 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.04 compared to TWD 1.22 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.04 compared to TWD 1.21 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 8,155.067 million compared to TWD 8,049.521 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 418.078 million compared to TWD 810.576 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 307.141 million compared to TWD 689.940 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.47 compared to TWD 3.3 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.47 compared to TWD 3.29 a year ago.
Thye Ming Industrial Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing, processing and trading of lead alloys and lead ingots. The Company provides lead alloys, soft leads, lead oxide yellow, lead oxide red and others. The lead alloy products mainly include lead-antimony alloys which are applied in storage batteries, cable leads and others, as well as lead-calcium alloys which are applied in non condensing lead-calcium batteries. The lead oxide yellow and lead oxide red are applied in kinescopes, lead glasses, paints, crystals, optical glasses, storage batteries and others. In addition, the Company provides waste disposing services. The Company distributes its products in the domestic market and to overseas markets, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand and other markets.
