Thye Ming Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,413.898 million compared to TWD 1,866.052 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 249.798 million compared to TWD 19.517 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 178.092 million compared to TWD 47.847 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.85 compared to TWD 0.23 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 4,453.753 million compared to TWD 4,075.277 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 498.748 million compared to TWD 27.968 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 356.877 million compared to net loss of TWD 9.415 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.71 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.05 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.7 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 0.05 a year ago.
Thye Ming Industrial Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing, processing and trading of lead alloys and lead ingots. The Company provides lead alloys, soft leads, lead oxide yellow, lead oxide red and others. The lead alloy products mainly include lead-antimony alloys which are applied in storage batteries, cable leads and others, as well as lead-calcium alloys which are applied in non condensing lead-calcium batteries. The lead oxide yellow and lead oxide red are applied in kinescopes, lead glasses, paints, crystals, optical glasses, storage batteries and others. In addition, the Company provides waste disposing services. The Company distributes its products in the domestic market and to overseas markets, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand and other markets.
