Thule Group AB Reports Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year Ended December 31, 2023

Thule Group AB (publ) reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2023. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 1,566 million compared to SEK 1,651 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 24 million compared to net loss of SEK 16 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 0.23 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of SEK 0.15 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 0.23 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of SEK 0.15 a year ago.
For the full year, the company reported sales was SEK 9,132 million compared to SEK 10,138 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 1,099 million compared to SEK 1,275 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 10.45 compared to SEK 12.19 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 10.44 compared to SEK 12.12 a year ago.
Thule Group AB is a Sweden-based company engaged in the development and manufacture of sport, outdoor and cargo products. Its offering is divided in two business segments: Outdoor&Bags and Specialty. The Outdoor&Bags segment comprises three product categories: sport and cargo carriers, bags for electronic devices, and other outdoor and bags; as well as several product groups, namely bike and car carriers, water and winter carriers, camera bags, laptop cases, recreational vehicle products, roof racks, and sports and travel bags, among others. The Specialty segment comprises two product categories: work gear and snow chains; and such product groups as pick-up truck tool boxes, and professional and consumer snow chains. The Companyâs brands are Thule, Case Logic, Konig, UWS, TracRac and SportRac. Its products are sold to retailers, distributors and wholesalers and available in more than 130 countries.
